Up-Flo Filter
HRD Technologies’ Up-Flo Filter is the new
standard in stormwater treatment.
Designed to meet the most stringent stormwater regulations
by targeting a wide range of pollutants including floatables,
trash, gross debris, fine sediments, nutrients, metals,
oils and grease, organics and bacteria, the Up-Flo
Filter is a high rate, modular system that combines a patented
upward flow path with a unique Drain Down design.
The multiple treatment train capabilities of the Up-Flo
Filter - settling, screening and filtration - make it the
most effective and economical stormwater treatment system
available.
From a simple retrofit application to standard manhole
configurations or even large vault system installations,
the Up-Flo Filter is the future of stormwater treatment.
Welcome to the next generation of stormwater filtration.

Up-Flo Technology
By directing stormwater runoff up through the Filter Modules the entire surface and depth of the treatment media is utilised. Traditional filters employ surface filtration and therefore use only a fraction of the available media.
The Up-Flo Filter media utilizes physical
filtration, ion exchange and sorption to remove pollutants
from stormwater.
The Up-Flo Filter is designed with a patented
Drain Down system that ensures the filter media is not submerged
between storm events, greatly reducing the risk of filter
media degradation, harmful bacterial growth and pollutants
leaching into valuable water resources.
Up-Flo technology provides maximum treatment
capacity, a minimal footprint and is adaptable to almost
any condition. The Up-Flo Filter sets a
new standard for stormwater filtration.
