  • fitted with a remotely controlled emergency pivoting by-pass door.
  • manufactured in grade 304 stainless steel as standard.
  • designed to be wet mounted.

Vortex flow control shall comply with the following:
  • Vortex flow control manufactured in grade 304 stainless steel to BS 1449 minimum 3 mm. thick (or greater depending upon hydraulic head).
  • Hydro-Brake ® Flow Control by Hydro International, Shearwater House, Clevedon Hall Estate, Victoria Road, Clevedon, BS21 7RD, Tel. 01275 878371. HRD Technologies Ltd is subsidiary of the Hydro International Plc.
  • Incorporate a pivoting by-pass door on the front face of the flow control to allow direct access to the downstream pipe, operated from ground level by means of a stainless steel rope.
  • The design criteria for the unit shall match that specified by the engineer + that shown on the head / discharge curve supplied by the manufacturer.
  • The 'flush flow' and 'kickback flow' shall match that specified by the engineer as well as that shown on the head / discharge curve supplied by the manufacturer.
