Installation
The
Hydro Vortex Drop™ Shaft has 3 basic components:
High-level intake. The mouth of the pipe and the inlet
to the high-level air suppressor pipe are located either
within an adjacent chamber or within an extended area at
the top of the main shaft. Horizontal pipework is used to
connect this component to the vertical drop pipe.
Vertical Drop Pipe. This is supported using a series of
brackets connected to the shaft wall.
Low level energy dissipater. This is bolted to the shaft
floor. |
