Performance
The system is designed to pass
a given design flow at a given hydraulic head.
A safety factor
is designed in to ensure that higher flow rates can also be
accommodated should inflow rates to the system exceed those
of the design storm event. High-level overflow weirs can also
be accommodated.
The system is guaranteed against cavitation
over all flow rates up to and equal to the design flow rate. |
