Research and Development

In addition to field testing, Hydro International operates two dedicated Research and Development Centers with well equipped laboratories in the US and UK.

Hydro International's advanced, full-scale testing facility in Portland, Maine, allows testing to be performed under controlled conditions. Hydro International's research team has established and pioneered direct testing methodology to determine the efficacy of solid/liquid separation devices.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

In recent years, Hydro International has developed considerable expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation. This ability to mathematically model flow fields and assess device characteristics is enabling rapid prototyping, thereby shortening product development cycles, and improving the quality of outputs.
