Performance
- Depending on location and requirements, Grit King® units are typically designed to achieve removal effiencies of 95% of particles down to 100, 150 or 200 microns with a SG of 2.65. Separators can however be designed to meet clients' specific requirements.
- Depending on site characteristics, moisture and faecal
organic contents can be as low as 18% and 2% respectively
when used with a secondary classification unit.
- The Grit King® units can be designed for flow rates
from 10 l/s to 1000 l/s per unit.
- Multiple units can be used to accommodate large flow
rates and provide additional flexibility.
- Headloss across the Grit King® is typically less
than 150mm.
